Click <strong>Images<\/strong> to add additional photos or change stock images. Click <strong>Bubbles<\/strong> to view the five different types of speech bubbles you can add to your image. This site would be ideal for BYOD or 1-1 classrooms, but is also suitable for blended and distance learning, as the images are easy to share. Below, we provide suggestions for using Phrase.It in several subject areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use Phrase.It to create an image about\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social Studies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Any historical figure (with words describing their legacy).<\/li><li>Historical events from the Civil Rights movement.<\/li><li>Election candidates, using the text to include basic platform information.<\/li><li>Famous buildings in Washington, D.C.<\/li><li>Generals from World War II.<\/li><li>Landmarks in Europe.<\/li><li>The Constitution.<\/li><li>The three branches of government.<\/li><li>Flags from other countries, using the text to share what the flag symbolizes.<\/li><li>Presidents, including a famous quote or what the student imagines the president would say about an issue.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Science:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Biomes of the world.<\/li><li>The Ring of Fire.<\/li><li>Parts of an animal cell.<\/li><li>The butterfly&#8217;s life cycle, using the speech bubbles to provide descriptions.<\/li><li>Phases of the moon, including descriptive words.<\/li><li>Causes and effects of hurricanes.<\/li><li>Equipment from the science lab.<\/li><li>Elements on the Periodic Table.<\/li><li>Any animal, using the speech bubbles as a description.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Math:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The steps for a math problem.<\/li><li>A word problem, using an image to explain the scenario.<\/li><li>Shapes in geometry.<\/li><li>Budgeting and personal finance.<\/li><li>Vocabulary words in calculus.<\/li><li>How to find area and perimeter.<\/li><li>The correct order of PEMDAS in a math problem.<\/li><li>The difference between a line and a line segment.<\/li><li>The difference between range and domain, showing each in images.<\/li><li>Estimating how many of something is in a photo (such as a candy jar or gum machine).<\/li><li>The difference between median, mean, and mode.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Language Arts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Parts of speech, annotating a random photo with adjectives, adverbs, and more.<\/li><li>Characters from a book. Use the speech bubbles to have them &#8220;talk&#8221; about a story&#8217;s ending or climax.<\/li><li>Visual vocabulary\/terminology, combining new words with appropriate images.<\/li><li>The main characters from a story where each shares a short description of themselves.<\/li><li>Pivotal events in a story.<\/li><li>The difference between two, too, and to.<\/li><li>Figurative language. For example, find an image representing an oxymoron, such as &#8220;organized chaos.&#8221;<\/li><li>A poem, aligning evocative lines with images.<\/li><li>A related simile.<\/li><li>Current events.
