Objective: Create one complete instructional video using Canva’s built-in resources, following the demonstrated process.
Time Required: 15 minutes
Activity Structure:
Minutes 1-2: Choose Your Lesson & Template
- Pick one simple concept you need to explain to students (math problem, science process, assignment instructions, etc.).
- Open Canva and search for an education or instructional video template.
- Select a template that appeals to you.
Minutes 3-14: Build Your Video Using Canva’s Built-In Tools
- Customize the template text with your specific lesson content.
- Add 1-2 stock images or video clips from Canva’s library that relate to your topic.
- Record a voice-over using Canva’s built-in recording feature (even just 30 seconds).
- Preview your video and make one small adjustment.
Minutes 15: Finalize & Share Your Creation
