Session Description:

Join us for this dynamic session where Harvard’s proven Thinking Routines become your secret weapon for building thoughtful digital citizens! We’ll show you how Thinking Routines can turn online conflicts into empathy-building moments and how to help students unpack the real impact of their digital choices.

Objectives:
  • Analyze the core concepts of digital citizenship and identify how Thinking Routines can be used as a pedagogical tool to make these concepts visible and accessible to students.
  • Select at least three different Thinking Routines that could be used in the classroom to address specific digital citizenship topics, such as online privacy, media literacy, or cyberbullying.
  • View ready-to-go Thinking Routine templates that can be duplicated for use with their students.
