Nifty Fifty: 50 BYOD Tools to Meet the 4Cs<\/span><\/h4>\n

Session Description:<\/span><\/h4>\n

Returning for 2019, the Nifty Fifty with a side of the 4Cs. Whether you are in a BYOD classroom or not, learn about 50 cool tools that are FREE and also DATs (device agnostic tools – available as both an app or on a web browser). DATs will be shared to meet the 4Cs: Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Creativity.<\/p>\n

Purpose:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The purpose of this session is to offer a fast-paced introduction to 50+ tools that would work in ANY classroom. All of the tools shared are device agnostic and FREE! They are available as both an app or on a web browser. Hear about tech integration ideas and collaborate with peers for additional ideas. Tools will be shared for all grade levels and all core subject areas. We will highlight the 4Cs and include tools that enable collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication. Prepare your students for the 21st-century jobs (and life) with these tools that teach skills that are necessary. A session Padlet will be shared to keep a list of additional ideas for each tool. <\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Participants will be introduced to about 50 tools for the byod (or any) classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants will discuss the 4Cs and the importance of teaching these skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants will collaborate about lesson ideas and ways to integrate technology using the tools that are shared.<\/span><\/p>\n
