Chapter Seventeen - Bathilda's Secret

Hermione is able to save Harry in this chapter, but his wand is not as lucky.

Elementary Activity

Draw a picture of Harry's broken wand and make a list of items you think he should try to use to repair it. Would glue work? Should he use some other magical spell?

Middle School Activity

Using household items such as popsicle sticks, paper towel tubes, or sticks from your backyard, make your own wand. What did you make your core out of? What kind of wood did you use?
