Using the internet, find out who invented the first printing press. What was his name? Where did he live? What year was it invented?

Middle School Activity

Read the Elementary activity. In addition to learning these basic facts about the inventor of the printing press, write a brief paragraph on the impact the printing press had on society. What was the effect of the press on written publications? Include whatever unique facts you find most interesting in your historical research.
