PenPal Schools connects your classroom to a global community of learners in over 150 countries. This platform provides free access for students and teachers to engage in collaborative projects focused on world issues, culture, and literacy. To start, you select a topic and form groups consisting of students from around the world. After joining a project, you post discussion questions to spark conversation. Students then respond to these prompts and interact with their global peers by sharing text and images, which helps them practice their reading and writing skills in a real-world context. The site includes built-in moderation to ensure all interactions remain safe and appropriate for learners of all ages.
