Include this video along with your other activities when teaching about the Dewey Decimal System. This YouTube video was created using Powtoon, reviewed here, an easy to use video creation tool. Challenge students or groups of students to create their own explanation video of the creation of the Dewey Decimal System and how to use it to find information in the library. Extend learning further by asking students to create monthly podcasts using Buzzsprout, reviewed here, to share additional information about non-fiction materials in the library.
