In the Classroom

Help your students to gain a deeper understanding of grasslands using this site. Share the site on your interactive whiteboard or projector. Have cooperative learning groups explore specific areas of this site and create a multimedia presentation to share with the class. Have students create an annotated image including text boxes and related links using a tool such as Thinglink, reviewed here. Challenge students to find a photo (legally permitted to be uploaded), and then narrate the photo as if it were a news report.
