Twee is an AI-powered platform designed specifically for English language teachers to help create engaging classroom materials in minutes. After creating a free account, educators can access a wide range of tools that generate activities from videos, articles, vocabulary lists, grammar topics, and reading passages. Twee works with YouTube videos to create comprehension questions, discussion prompts, summaries, vocabulary exercises, and pre- and post-viewing activities. Additional tools help teachers generate quizzes, worksheets, gap-fill activities, writing prompts, lesson plans, speaking tasks, and assessment materials. The platform also includes tools for extracting text from images and adapting content for different levels of language proficiency. Generated resources can be copied, edited, downloaded, or shared with students. Use Twee to differentiate instruction by creating reading passages at different difficulty levels based on the same content. Use gotFeedback to provide quick assessments of students' writing and to focus on specific ways to improve their work. Use the Prompt Guide on gotFeedback to understand how to provide clear and actionable feedback to support students. If desired, share the revised writing example with students to use as a model for editing their work, or share the feedback and ask them to change based on that information. Use Google Docs or Microsoft Word for students to track and share writing revisions. For example, ask students to begin writing projects in Google Docs. After sharing their work, use gotFeedback to analyze the work based on your criteria, then share the feedback portion with the student. Ask the student to highlight areas that need improvement, then use that information as a starting point to revise the text below the original text. When finished, ask the student to write a short reflective piece on methods to improve his writing. QuestionWell uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate multiple-choice questions, learning objectives, essential questions, and more based on your text. Begin by signing in using your Google or Microsoft account, then add a topic, select a language (QuestionWell responds in over a dozen languages), and paste an optional reading passage. Leave the reading passage blank for QuestionWell to write a passage for you. When ready, click "Generate Set" to generate a set of multiple-choice questions and, if selected, the reading passage. Choose all questions, remove any unwanted ones, or add your own before sharing them with students. When ready, use the export link to print your quiz or share it with several sites, including Wayground (formerly Quizizz), reviewed here, Google Forms, reviewed here, and others. Free accounts allow members to copy and paste reading passages of up to 1,000 words and create multiple-choice questions.

For example, as an introduction to an upcoming unit on the solar system, ask QuestionWell to generate questions about the solar system and include your grade level. Use the provided questions and personalize them as needed, then share them along with the reading passage to engage students in learning about your upcoming topic. Select the Resources link to choose from options to create a resource. Options include assessments, group activities, slide decks, and additional activities. After selecting a tool, follow the prompts to add course information, learning objectives, and outcomes. Export materials created by Almanack to Google Docs, PowerPoint, or Google Slides and edit as needed, depending on the type of tool made. Use the Courses link to develop lessons and units using Almanack's suggestions or add information manually.

Curipod creates interactive lessons using AI (artificial intelligence) technology. Tasks include features for making word clouds, adding polls, questions, and more. Create an account, then copy and edit a lesson using a template or build one in just a few seconds using your prompt and instructions. When creating a new lesson, start with a blank slide or use templates that include a brain break, exit ticket, multiple choice, or complete lesson. The brain break generators include several stress-free tasks, such as Would You Rather questions, and fun writing and drawing prompts. To create new tasks, add a topic and include standards if desired. Another option allows you to import PowerPoint presentations and PDFs when creating new activities. When ready, share lessons with students using the provided QR code or the join code for students to access at curi.live. View statistics in your dashboard, including the number of times played and player results. Free accounts currently include unlimited players, five private Curipods, a shared workspace, and all core features.

Use Curipod as a starting point for creating lessons and student activities, then modify the content to fit your curriculum and students' abilities and needs. The Brain Break activities are an excellent starting point for using Curipod in your classroom. Select an activity from the Brain Break options, then choose a grade level and follow the prompts to share a short mental break with your students. Copy and paste standards when creating a lesson as a starting point to add content for the lesson. When using any AI technology, verify the information provided is accurate before sharing it with students. Use Curripod as a flipped or blended learning activity, share the join code with students, and ask them to complete the activities within a designated period before reviewing together as a class. Easily modify any template to differentiate instruction for different groups of students. For example, when introducing decimals, provide a basic introduction with vocabulary and instructional content to one group of students but add more challenging content, such as adding decimals for students already familiar with this topic. Parlay is a virtual round table student-driven discussion tool. Browse the discussion prompts on the site or create your own. Each round table starts with a statement of the learning goals for the activity. Students then view added content and multimedia, including videos, articles, and other information to support the discussion. After reviewing the content, students participate by responding to discussion questions followed by peer feedback. After creating a round table, invite students to participate using the join code or link to your activity. Another option available on the site is Parlay Genie, an artificial intelligence-based tool that creates discussion prompts based on your topic, grade range of students, and additional information such as weblinks and the number of students. In addition, Parlay connects to Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, and other school platforms, allowing educators to assign to students automatically. The free option offers up to twelve round tables and one custom content request.

Parlay is an excellent tool to help you teach listening and discussion skills! Browse Parlay's topics to find many ideas for engaging students in thoughtful discussions and conversations. Take advantage of the time-saving features found in Parlay Genie to generate discussion questions and ideas based on your source materials and content. Include recorded conversations and written student responses using Vocaroo, reviewed here. If sharing articles to discuss, use Fiskkit, reviewed here, for students to annotate and comment within each article. The free Parlay option is limited; however, access to the Round Table ideas is free. Use these ideas to promote classroom discussion with Gravity, reviewed here. Quickly create assessments, lessons, and interactive videos using your materials or those from the site's library. Choose from the delivery of activities in live mode or the student-paced feature. Additional features, including a dyslexia font, options for reduced answer options, and translation tools support special needs and diverse learners. After signing in to your Wayground account, choose from the options on the dashboard to explore options available in the library, add a class, or use AI to create activities. Choose the "Create" link to build assessments, lessons, reading passages, and flashcards. Assign activities directly to Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, or other Learning Management Systems. In addition, students can access Wayground using the link or join code provided after assigning the activity.
