ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot that allows members to have conversations that answer questions and assist with many tasks. Create an account using your email address, Google, or Microsoft account. Use the "Send a Message" box at the bottom of the page to type a chat request and click send. ChatGPT provides a response based on your input. Use the option to regenerate the request if you want to see different answers, or use the chat box to type in clarifying information to improve the response. Find your previous chats on the left side of the screen, and click any chat to edit, view, delete, or obtain a link to share. Always verify any information provided by ChatGPT before using it. This is an evolving tool, and many features change (or upgrade) on a regular basis.

Use ChatGPT to increase your productivity and as a resource for finding classroom resources. For example, use the chat to find activities accompanying your current book study. An example question might be, "What are some activities to add to our study of Charlotte's Web in third grade?" Use a clarifying question to select one of the provided activities and ask for free online resources that support the provided response. This example includes several clarifying questions that provide additional ideas for books and activities to accompany Charlotte's. Ask ChatGPT to differentiate activities for students who need extra support or for those that need enrichment activities. K20 Games offers over a dozen games encouraging critical thinking skills through game-based learning. Games place students in the role of decision-makers in real-world situations. Examples of games include Aware, which puts the student as an emergency manager in a region plagued with emergency disasters, and Paper Trail. This game asks students to consider how to behave in a morally corrupt business community. To access the games as an educator, select the Request Games link and complete the required information to receive an invitation code. Receipt of the code typically takes 24-48 hours. After receiving the code, follow the directions in your email response to create an account. Create a class, then select games to assign to your students. Each selected game includes teaching materials and a sample lesson plan. Share the provided invitation key with students to access and play games.

Read over the guide deciding which parts need to be shared with the class. Introduce the guide and the projects to students on an interactive whiteboard or with a projector through the part "activate prior knowledge." Then pair more computer savvy students with novice computer users or weak readers with stronger readers as needed. Next, the student-driven approach to the projects includes "Take a Closer Look" activities are scaffolded, guided learning activities that connect subject-area content and artificial intelligence concepts. "Culminating Performances" are meaningful performance tasks that challenge students to synthesize their learning and reflect on what they have learned. This article features topics and resources that explain how little fresh water there is in the world. The Introduction and Background Knowledge give facts about fresh water and explain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for accessible, clean water. The Activities section suggests several books to read that range from ages PreK to grade 12, with seven videos from which to choose. One activity suggests students practice walking with jugs of water balancing on their heads. Another activity is to simulate cleaning up bird feathers after an oil spill. Additional resources and activities are suggested in the Extensions section.

These standards-aligned activities demonstrate how diverse country music careers apply STEAM skills. ClassPoint integrates with PowerPoint and Windows operating systems using presentation tools, interactive quiz questions, and a gamified reward system. Use the presentation tools to highlight information, add annotations, open a whiteboard, and more. Turn your slides into interactive questions to share with students and receive immediate feedback through the responses. Use the rewards option to give or take away stars to students based on your preferences; students move through levels to receive badges by earning rewards. Download ClassPoint to your Windows device by following the directions and prompts provided. Free accounts offer up to a twenty-five-student class size, five questions per PowerPoint, three draggable objects, three saved classes, and basic gamification. ClassPoint is not available for MacOS devices at the time of this review; however, it is being looked at as an option, so Mac users might want to check back to see if it becomes available.

Share this activity with parents and students to encourage learning over the summer on your class website or end-of-year newsletter. Encourage students to share their activities and to remain active over the summer using interactive slide presentations made with Canva for Education, reviewed here. Create a topic for students to share their progress throughout the game and discuss how they complete tasks.
