K-12 Advisory Council Search

The Source For Learning is seeking volunteer educators who are interested in advancing SFL’s work in K12 Initiatives to create and deliver high quality, technology-based content and services to empower teachers. Selected volunteers would join our K12 Advisory Council responsible to provide feedback and guidance to the SFL K12 staff regarding the needs and interests of classroom teachers who seek to use technology in support of teaching and learning.

Description of the Commitment
Advisory Council members will be asked to: Contribute ideas for new content on TF; Make suggestions for changes/improvements to existing content; Share teacher concerns that you hear “in the trenches”; Suggest ways that teachers might collaborate with those they do not know; Suggest ways that TF might deliver/facilitate professional development; and Brainstorm “dream” scenarios for a teacher resource site.

Advisory Council members are asked to serve for 2 years.  Required activities will include attending virtual council meetings (currently 2 per year) and completing follow-up activities after the council meeting.
