Activities for Your MakerSpace
Looking for something easy to incorporate into your MakerSpace like music or games? Then try these engaging and curricular-focused virtual tools!
Grades K-12
Virtual Musical Instruments
Try your hand at the guitar, piano, pan flute, drums, or bongos. Select the instrument, and follow the directions for using the keyboard to make music. Create different melodies using different notes or rhythms. Create a music area for your MakerSpace.
Grades 3-12
Engineering Games
Bring some game-based learning into your MakerSpace (related to engineering). Choose from several categories such as Robots, Logic Games, or Electricity. Each activity includes a short description and information on how to play. Don't forget the earbuds!
Grades 4-12
GameMaker Studio
Creating a game is an excellent way to demonstrate knowledge and share information with others. Have students use this simple tool to create games for others to try at your MakerSpace. Use drag and drop features to create games without learning to code.
