August Is Awesome!
Ready or not, Back to School is coming soon (if you haven't already gone back). Did you know that August is also the birth month of some pretty awesome people? Maria Montessori (1870), Alan Jay Lerner (1918), and Lord Alfred Tennyson (1809) were all born this month. Birthdays, anniversaries, and upcoming events can provide inspiration for teaching students about past and current events and the amazing individuals who contribute to history, literature, and more!
