Design thinking goes through phases of collecting feedback and data, using the data to identify the problems to be solved, developing prototypes, and testing solutions. Discover design thinking tools for all ages in this curated collection.

Use this site to introduce STEM careers to young people. Select from several different areas of STEM, read a short description of the field of study, and view videos of modern-day professionals working in the field.

From STEM to STEAM

STEAM takes STEM a step further and includes Art. These lessons, projects, and website will get your students' creative juices flowing. 

Grades K-8

STEAM Art Lessons

Take a look at the many ideas based on famous works of art like Edvard Munch's The Scream and Gilbert Stuart's George Washington portrait. Each lesson consists of a link to the blog post describing the lesson, many of these also include a video overview.

Babble Dabble Do

Engineering Design Process

Many STEM/STEAM activities also incorporate the engineering design process, a series of steps that engineers follow to come up with a solution to a problem. Here are a few resources to help you get started and learn more about the process.
