October is Global Diversity Awareness Month
Celebrate the rich variety of cultures, traditions, and perspectives that make our world so vibrant! This collection of resources makes it easy to incorporate global learning into your classroom in meaningful and engaging ways that go beyond sharing surface-level facts. You'll find tools for exploring diverse stories and folktales, lessons about cultural celebrations and traditions, and activities that encourage empathy and perspective-taking. Whether you're integrating multicultural literature into your reading time, examining global issues in social studies, or discovering art and music from around the world, these resources help students develop cultural competence and appreciation while recognizing their own place in our interconnected global community. Let's use this month to inspire curiosity, build understanding, and celebrate how diverse perspectives enrich our lives!
