Twee offers a collection of artificial intelligence (AI) tools designed specifically for English teachers to quickly generate classroom materials. After creating a free account, teachers can access tools that work with videos, texts, vocabulary, and grammar practice. Twee integrates with platforms like YouTube to generate comprehension questions, summaries, and pre-viewing prompts from video content. Additional tools support the creation of assessments, discussion questions, and homework activities. Some features also allow users to convert images into text, making it easy to turn screenshots into usable classroom materials. Activities can be copied into documents or exported as PDFs for sharing with students. The free plan includes a limited number of daily AI tool uses (such as a set number of runs per day for text-based tools) along with unlimited sharing of created resources, making it a useful but somewhat restricted option for regular classroom use.

Twee isn't just for English teachers! Use Twee to create content for any subject area to engage students and enhance comprehension. Use Twee to differentiate instruction by creating reading passages at different difficulty levels based on the same content. Twee's vocabulary tools are an excellent option for introducing new vocabulary in science, social studies, or math. Extend learning using NearPod, reviewed here to create interactive lessons using the content created with Twee, such as drag-and-drop activities and using comprehension questions as formative assessments. You must be registered and logged in to add items to your favorites.
