The Native American Studies section of Harvard Library's K-12 teacher toolkit curates open and freely available resources for teaching Native American history, cultures, and contemporary experiences. A featured resource is the Smithsonian's Native Knowledge 360'?, which provides educators and students with Native-centered perspectives that challenge incomplete or stereotypical accounts of Indigenous history. The broader toolkit also includes subject-area pages, curriculum resources, open educational-resource repositories, children's literature, media-search guidance, educational technology, and professional-development materials. The guide is designed as a starting point rather than a complete unit, so teachers should preview each external resource for grade level, cultural accuracy, accessibility, account requirements, and continued availability.

The Code.org Self-Paced AI 101 is part of a free, online professional learning series for educators that introduces the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and machine learning in a classroom-friendly way. It helps teachers build confidence with core AI concepts, how AI systems analyze data, and how to bring basic AI literacy into their teaching. The course is asynchronous and self-paced, so teachers can learn at their own speed and apply examples and strategies in their classrooms. This professional learning aligns with Code.org's broader efforts to make AI education accessible and meaningful for K-12 educators.

Watch videos together with your department or during staff meetings as part of your efforts to learn about AI and incorporate it as part of your professional tools, and when using AI with students. Pull concepts from videos to use when teaching students about AI, for example, when creating mini-lessons on how AI works or during bias and ethics discussions. Since the series is self-paced and free, assign it (or specific sessions) as your own prep before rolling out any AI tool with students so that you can speak to both the potential and the pitfalls.
