Letsfind is a free, easy-to-use poll creator. Type in a topic of discussion, then choose between creating a date or a text poll. The poll can be accessed with a QR code or link when finished. You get a link to edit your poll, a link to send to voters, and a link to view results. Advanced poll options include preventing multiple votes from the same participant and receiving a notification when a new vote is submitted.

Google Arts and Culture has created a fun, interactive way to explore Ludwig van Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas. Start by tapping a rhythm on your space bar, and the program finds one of Beethoven's sonatas that matches their beat. After your rhythm is matched, you can further explore the sonata by listening to the entire piece, zooming in or out of the visual representation of the rhythm. Join in the interactive experience as the featured author engages with the audience, answers questions, and even asks some lucky audience members to read along with them! Select the Start Watching! link to join events and view the schedule of upcoming events, then choose to participate on the web app or download Storyvoice for viewing using the Apple or Google Play app. Upcoming events are listed with the author's name, suggested grade level, and the date and time of the event. As an introduction, this article includes background knowledge of the origins and history of jazz. The activities section includes an extensive list of picture books about jazz and several ideas for classroom activities. The extension activities provide additional ideas for introducing jazz into classroom lessons, such as integrating the study of jazz into lessons about the Cold War and Civil Rights. Students use the provided gameboard and instructions to complete their choice of challenge tasks in language arts, social studies, science, STEM topics, and the arts. Play continues until students land on the FINISH space.

In the Classroom
Share this activity with parents and students to encourage learning over the summer on your class website or end-of-year newsletter. Encourage students to share their activities and to remain active over the summer using interactive slide presentations made with Canva for Education, reviewed here. Create a topic for students to share their progress throughout the game and discuss how they complete tasks.
