For example, a search for math produces episodes on The Origin of Math Signs and Unique Snowflakes, among others. Listen to any episode on the Stuff You Should Know site, many well-known podcast sites, or the Stuff You Should Know YouTube channel.

Visit the Teacher's Channel to search for and explore available games by subject, grade level, and game type. Game options include grids (similar to Jeopardy), lists (similar to Family Feud), and Trivia. Choose from several play options, including student devices, introductory screen presentation, and solo trivia. The basic free plan allows members to participate in two teams and up to 20 players per crowd.

After creating an account, begin using Teacher's Buddy by creating a new workspace for your activities. Select an age group and choose from the available tools. Follow the directions to provide the topic and context, and connect to your Google Drive to upload documents if desired. When finished, edit the content as you wish, then save the document to your Google Drive or share using the provided link. Under the menu topic - Subjects, you will also find help with Literature, Writing, Social Science, and others. To begin, upload a question or an image. Gauth then provides a step-by-step response with a detailed explanation of the answer. Find additional explanations by selecting Copilot, which is built into Gauth's platform, or by choosing from suggestions for related questions. You don't need to register, but doing so will allow access to your search history.

If you and your class can't attend, archives of all sessions are available on YouTube. You can find them by visiting the provided link. Visit the signup section on the site to learn how to find a scientist and request a private session for your class; this process takes about a week, and teachers connect via email to set up a convenient time for your chat. In the Classroom
Have students write a character description and use the AI Photo Generator to visualize it. They share these images along with stories using Google Docs. Have students research historical figures, then create a modern version of them using the generator. Present these images alongside historical facts in a PowerPoint presentation, linking past to present. In the Classroom
Include this collection in art classes during the study of comic book art. Share comics with students in history classes along with newspaper comics to demonstrate the use of comics to depict historic events or share political beliefs and satire. In literature classes, include this site along with others to share comics depicting characters in novels. Varsity Tutors offers a series of free live classes for summer learning. These sessions begin on May 6 and run through August 14. Classes provide learning opportunities to help students prepare for the SAT and ACT exams, learn about hieroglyphics, visit an aquarium, and more. Select the link to any class to learn more about the content and suggested grade levels, and enroll. Each class is offered at a specific time and date and lasts 45 minutes to an hour.

In the Classroom
Include links to these free classes with your other summer reading and learning opportunities shared with students and parents. Be sure to highlight offerings of particular interest to your students; for example, if students are taking the ACT and SAT, point out courses that help them prepare for these tests.
