Mindful Learners, Mindful Teachers
Every day, our classrooms provide opportunities to nurture not only what students know, but also how they think, approach challenges, and respond to new situations. The 16 Habits of Mind—from Persistence to Thinking Flexibly and Listening with Understanding and Empathy—offer a common language for intentionally fostering these essential dispositions. By explicitly modeling and reinforcing these habits, educators help students build the intellectual character they'll use far beyond the classroom. This week, we are highlighting resources and practical strategies connected to each habit to support and strengthen your teaching practice.
