Introduce Virtual Cave to your class with a projector or on a whiteboard. Once they understand how to navigate the site allow pairs to investigate on their own. Have students take digital notes on the explanatory text (including definitions for new vocabulary) using Memo Notepad, reviewed here; tell students to be sure to save the URL to share their notes and questions with you and their peers. Students should then choose one of the cave types that interests them and find out where they are located.
