The question gets students thinking about what the class will be about. Entry tickets allow the teacher to assess what the students are thinking and answer questions that the students have. Students enjoy entry tickets because they can write their thoughts down and get immediate teacher feedback. There are samples of entry ticket templates in Microsoft Word, Google Doc and Forms. Have students read the website and take the ten-question quiz.
