Witeboard is a free and simple-to-use online whiteboard. Begin using the whiteboard without registration; click and draw! Then, use the tools at the bottom of the screen to change colors, add lines, add text, and more. Next, use the two lines at the bottom left of the whiteboard to find additional options that allow you to switch to a blackboard, include shape detection, and download and save the board as an image. Another option for sharing your board is using the share link at the top of the page; this option makes the board collaborative by including multiple participants. Registration isn't required; creating an account allows you to access previous boards on any device.

In the Classroom
Save the link to Witeboard to use for many different classroom options. For example, when working with small groups of students, use Witeboard to draw and share ideas on your mobile device. When students are working on computers, ask them to use Witeboard to demonstrate their understanding of math problems or draw a quick response to stories they read. After creating their response, have students save their work as an image and add it to your Google Classroom assignments or your learning management system such as Seesaw, reviewed here. Convert and download YouTube videos to any device using the Free Video Downloader Online. First, find and copy the video link on the URL of your web browser (this is different than copying the link to share - you want to see the word "watch" in the link you copy). Next, click download to begin saving to your device, then choose from many different options for the type and size of the file to download. Additional download options include saving as an MP3, JPG thumbnail, or caption. For the final step, a preview will appear after selecting an option for download; pick the three dots in the video preview and choose the option to download. Then, view the download videos on your current media player, such as QuickTime.

There are three main areas of the site to search for resources - the Blog, Google Ideas, and Resources. Blog content includes suggestions for feedback, gamifying classrooms, and sources for finding free content. Use the keyword search to look for specific information. The Google Ideas section shares material for all things Google, including using Chromebooks. Scroll down the page to find ideas sorted by Google tools and links to videos, templates, and related blog posts. Select the Resources link to find an abundance of free templates, how-to videos, and tools for remote learning. Be sure to dig around at length; there is much more available on this site, including a handful of free online courses for educators. The videos are hosted on YouTube. If your district blocks YouTube, then they may not be viewable.

Learn to implement direct instruction based on Marzano's strategies to expand vocabulary in all subject areas and increase success in school and on achievement tests. Using the six-step approach, we'll explore tech tools to help bring vocabulary from short-term memory into long-term memory. Discover how to choose tech tools you can use to increase student collaboration and provide data for formative assessments. As a result of this session, teachers will: 1. Review Marzano's strategies for vocabulary instruction; 2. Explore tools for vocabulary instruction; and 3. Understand how to use tech tools to create formative assessments for vocabulary. This session is appropriate for teachers at all technology levels.

Learning to code helps students understand problem solving and logic while expressing their creative side. While increasing student fluency in coding technologies helps them prepare for many academic pursuits, it also helps them build perseverance, determination, and grit. Join us to explore a few cool tools that will help as you embark on this journey with your class. As a result of this session, teachers will: 1. Understand the components of computational thinking; 2. Explore Google tools that engage students in coding; and 3. Plan for the use of coding activities in the classroom. This session is appropriate for teachers at all technology levels.

Understand how hexagonal thinking supports knowledge construction; 2. Explore three ways to use hexagonal thinking in the classroom; and 3. Plan for the use of hexagonal thinking during instruction. Routines are a key part of classroom management. As educators, we create routines for many things: asking to leave the room, handing out supplies, and transitioning to a new task, to name a few. EduProtocols are routines you apply to your lesson content, streamlining the instructional process and allowing you and your students to focus on the content. Join us to see how EduProtocols can help provide a framework for your lessons. As a result of this session, teachers will: 1. Understand the purpose of EduProtocols; 2. Password Folder allows Windows users to create password-protected folders on their PCs using downloadable software tools. Once downloaded and installed, add a password to protect any folder in three clicks. Begin by selecting the file to download to your device and following the installation and setup directions. Once installed, select any folder and add a password; protected folders turn red and then display a lock icon to indicate they are locked. To open a protected folder, click open as usual and enter the password. Use different passwords for each folder, or select the "One password for all folders" option to lock multiple folders with one password.

Convert documents to PDF from many different formats or change a PDF into another form using drag-and-drop features or uploading from your device. Choose options from the most widespread uses or scroll further down the page to view all options. Select your desired tool, then follow the prompts to upload your document. Once the document uploads, choose from options such as quality preferred, then select the link to convert your file. When complete, download the new file to your device or select the dropdown box to choose from other options, such as uploading to Dropbox or Google Drive. PDF Converter also offers a Chrome extension that provides instant access to all the tools when using your Chrome browser.
