Begin with a blank document or choose from the many templates offered and drag and drop elements from the options shared on the dashboard. Canva Docs also offers Magic Write, an artificial intelligence-driven tool that automatically generates content based on your provided prompt. Finally, change any Doc to a Deck (presentation) using the link to convert or use the share link to assign a document to Teams, Google Classroom, or add collaborators.

There are two types of AI generators on the site; course planning and activity generators. The course planning generators can create lesson objectives, flash cards, topic notes, and a scheme of work. Questions can be multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, or a combination of both. Quizzes can be completed online using an access code or exported to a Google form. First, you must create a Google account, which requires granting access to your Google Drive.

Use the presentation tools to highlight information, add annotations, open a whiteboard, and more. Turn your slides into interactive questions to share with students and receive immediate feedback through the responses. Use the rewards option to give or take away stars to students based on your preferences; students move through levels to receive badges by earning rewards. Download ClassPoint to your Windows device by following the directions and prompts provided. Free accounts offer up to a twenty-five-student class size, five questions per PowerPoint, three draggable objects, three saved classes, and basic gamification. ClassPoint is not available for MacOS devices at the time of this review; however, it is being looked at as an option, so Mac users might want to check back to see if it becomes available.

What Do Snowmen Do In Summer? - is one of the TeachersFirst Help! I lost my media/library specialist collection found here that features topics and resources that focus on integrating literacy with technology. The Introduction and Background Knowledge discuss how important it is, yet how hard it is, to keep children engaged in literacy once summer vacation arrives and the weather gets nice. The Activities suggest how to get books into kid's hands with links and ideas for where to find them. Some exciting ideas for activities are offered, such as Camp Book-it, Chuck E Cheese Reward Calendar, and a few others. The last section of the article suggests Extension activities you may not have thought about regarding summer literacy. Pexels offers free, high-quality stock photos and videos to use without attribution or account membership. Browse trending images on the home page or use the search bar to find resources to fit any need. After selecting an image, choose the free download icon to select an image size from those offered or create a custom size, then download it to your device. Download videos from several formats, including SD, HD, and 4K UHD. Although attribution isn't required, providing credit is always appreciated. Create a free account to create collections and save favorite images and videos for easy use.

Achievery is a free digital learning platform, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, that provides K-12 students with engaging video clips paired with standards-aligned lesson plans and activities across various subjects, including ELA, SEL, Math, Science, Digital Literacy, Social Studies, Arts, and STEM. To access the content, users must create an account. Teachers and parents can register, and parents have the option to set up sub-accounts for children under 13. Content is searchable and filterable by unit or lesson, grade band, subject, standard, or media type, including an "All Units" section. Most lessons are part of larger learning units but are also fully usable as standalone lessons. Each lesson includes downloadable PDFs, aligned standards (Common Core, CASEL, ISTE, NGSS), vocabulary lists, activity instructions, and linked videos. The platform is available in both English and Spanish. It is an excellent resource for classroom instruction or substitutes, with a sign-in required to access materials.

In the Classroom
Bookmark and save this site as a resource for lessons in many content areas to engage students using popular video clips. Although originally designed for remote learning, all lessons can be easily adapted for in-class instruction. Easily find activities to differentiate instruction for different student ability levels by browsing options below or above the student's current grade level. Many lessons include worksheets in PDF format. Turn these activities into a digital format by taking a screenshot of the document, then save as the background on Google Slides, reviewed here. Add text boxes in the appropriate place on the slide for students to add responses. Use Pear Deck Flashcard Factory, reviewed here, to create flashcards for students to practice the vocabulary highlighted in each lesson.
This resource requires PDF reader software like Adobe Acrobat.
