To help students prepare for the discussion, have them write about their opinion(s) for selected questions first. Replace paper and pen and have students create blogs sharing their thoughts and understanding about the book. After completing the discussions, challenge older students to choose a question and create a script for the ideas that emerged from the discussion; then strengthen student learning and have them put it into a podcast.
