Find parent information and the ideas to help kids reach their full potential and make learning fun. There are also many resources for classroom teachers, making the site worthwhile for both. The site is very large, and there is much to explore (lesson plans, games, worksheets, and more). Find grade-level specific links on the left-hand side, from before Pre-School all the way to High School. Search by topic or browse by age, topic, or featured information. Other methods to browse include menus for Just Ask, Activities, Worksheets, Video, and more. Featured topics each month include back to school information, kindergarten readiness, what to expect in various grade levels, bullying, and other topics relevant to school-age children. There is also a free smartphone app. You can also sign up for the weekly newsletter including a new activity each week.

Use Educreations' simple web-based whiteboard for the iPad app to record lessons and share with your students. Create your course(s) and control privacy settings from the beginning. Make the content public, private to your students, or private to all within the school. Create a lesson by using the online whiteboard and your microphone. Easily upload images from your computer and switch between whiteboard screens. Click on the Students tab to provide a link for students to find your course. Students can self-register using the unique classroom code. Each lesson has a unique URL you can share, as well. Students can access your lessons via the web or an iPad. You can remove students from registration lists in this section. The free plan includes 50 MB of storage space, basic whiteboard tools, the ability to record and share lessons, and allows users to save one draft at a time.

Create mini lessons for students to review or learn the material they may have missed. Next, use the links within each activity to personalize the course offering and upload files. Then, adjust the submission settings and rules to define course deadlines, options for editing after submission, and adding prerequisites necessary before allowing access to individual activities. Finally, invite students to join the course using their email. Once added, your teacher dashboard will show student progress within each course. Free accounts offer one instructor the ability to provide unlimited active courses with 10 monthly active learners in each course.

Bookmark this site for professional use and share it with students whenever using images for class projects and assignments. Be sure to discuss how to use and attribute images within their work properly. Use these images on your class web page, in newsletters, or in slide presentations. Share the link to this magazine with your students via your delicious or diigo links that can be posted on your wiki or website. Then have students sign up for an article to read on their own time using your wiki as a sign up location. Then have students share what they have read in class discussion or on an online discussion board or blog post. Modify learning and challenge students to create a multimedia presentation to share their topic. The Open Up Resources ELA Curricula site offers high-quality, research-based English Language Arts instructional programs for PreK-12 classrooms that center on rich, whole texts and real-world content knowledge to help students build literacy skills. The curricula are openly accessible as OER (open educational resources) with both print and digital options, and include supports for diverse learners, embedded assessments, and clear instructional protocols grounded in the science of reading. Programs range from EL Education language arts editions (including updated 2025 modules) to Bookworms K-5 Reading & Writing and the Odell High School Literacy Program, all designed to foster student discourse, differentiate instruction, and support teacher planning and professional growth.

In the Classroom
Take advantage of the infographics on this site for both classroom use and professional development. Introduce a topic by sharing the Infographic and allowing time for students (or peers) to identify various items that they notice about the chart. Allow time to think-pair-share and list questions for further understanding. Choose a new infographic each week and use links for each image to embed on your website or share via social media. Make curriculum content more real with infographics that students can relate to. Consider creating Infographics of material students are learning in class for better understanding and connection with other topics and the world around them.
