Staying current with the latest AI tools is time-consuming, and choosing appropriate tools becomes difficult when there are so many available options. TeacherServer is your hub for finding and using AI tools that save time and increase efficiency. Create a free account to begin using TeacherServer, then explore content by selecting from categories that include general resources, content area tools, and professional topics such as leadership and tools to use with parents. Each category contains dozens of tools, such as lesson plan generators, standards navigators, and assessment generators. After selecting a tool to describe grade level and objectives, fill in the form and add personalized instructions if desired. Copy the results, add them to a Word or Google document, or save them to your TeacherServer account. Save your favorite tools to find and access them easily from your account dashboard.

The Crash Course has over 45 videos on topics ranging from Anatomy to Zoology, Artificial Intelligence to Outbreak Science. There are the more common topics one might want to learn about, like Ecology, Films, Geography, and much more. All videos are free to watch. Each video also includes a short description (some with lesson stem ideas). Crash Course videos are hosted on YouTube. If your district/school blocks YouTube, they may not be viewable. The good news for teachers whose schools block YouTube is that you can download the video if you fill out a form. Go to the Download tab from the top menu, select Students & Teachers, scroll down the page, and follow the directions.

MirrorTalk uses AI as a partner to create and share meaningful opportunities for cognitive and emotional reflection in any classroom. It is also an assessment tool that can help develop continuing learning growth. The AI features thoughtful questions that guide participants through a reflective process using personalized prompts. After creating an account, create a group by adding a group name and grade level, and define how students access the activity. Access options include student login, name only without email, or open access without a name; however, video is required. Additional options offer video or audio and presentation in English or Spanish. Set up reflections by adding your objective and the type of focus to use, such as depth of knowledge, problem-solving, and others. Share the prompts with students using the assignment link. As students respond, your dashboard on MirrorTalk updates with charts that provide feedback on student responses and suggestions for supporting each student in their learning process.

Choose from any of the crafts to create Mother's Day gifts. While the focus is Mother's Day, these crafts can be utilized in any subject area as a way for students to demonstrate their knowledge. Use Book Creator, reviewed here, to have students create interactive e-books that include stories, poems, and crafts for Mother's Day. You can then share the e-books with families. Many of the templates are PDFs. Have students upload them to a program like Canva Edu, reviewed here and they can type or draw on the PDFs. Then, share them electronically or print them out and to be displayed in the classroom. Incorporate math by having the students create pixel art using the cross-stitch activity.
This resource requires PDF reader software like Adobe Acrobat.

If you believe you are not musically inclined but still want to produce music for any subject, Suno AI Song Creator is for you! Choose "Make a Song" and log into your free account. Use the explore area to find songs produced by other creators, or select Create to have Suno make a song based on your prompt. Add a description for your song that includes information such as the topic, type of music, and any specific words to include. When ready, click Create and wait a few seconds for a few songs to appear. The standard song length is up to one minute and twenty seconds; visit the FAQ section for instructions for extending the length. When finished, share your song using the link or download it to your device as a video or audio file. Free accounts offer 50 credits daily (10 songs).

Use this article as a starting point to develop a research unit on any topic for students in primary grades. Engage students in the learning process by offering a variety of learning materials that appeal to different learners. Use a bookmarking tool such as Symbaloo, reviewed here, to curate and share online resources with students. Symbaloo is especially helpful for younger students because the linked icons make it easy to organize information into groups and provide a visual clue to the linked information. Enhance learning further using resources found at ReadWriteThink, reviewed here. Search for the Animal Inquiry Interactive, for example, to use in creating a graphic organizer sharing animal facts, including habitat, interaction with others, and more. Baamboozle is a quick and easy-to-use tool for playing and creating games. It doesn't require registration to play. Choose the "Games" link to go to all games saved on Baamboozle. Scroll through to view games, or search for a term. Divide the group into two teams and begin play. Each team chooses a number from the game board and answers the question. Check for accuracy; then, Baamboozle keeps track of scores. Use games found on the site, or create games on any device. Registration with email is necessary to create your own games.

TRAILS is a free online, interactive student assessment using multiple-choice questions on a variety of information literacy skills based on 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th grade standards. This easy, flexible tool is for school librarians and teachers to identify strengths and weaknesses in the information-seeking skills of their students. TRAILS can be used for formative and summative evaluations in five category areas: Develop Topic, Identify Potential Sources, Use Search Strategies, Evaluate Sources and Information, Use Information Responsibly, Ethically, and Legally.

In the Classroom
Students can be evaluated in four separate grade-level tests. You must create accounts and new sessions to save student work and have it graded. Individual codes are assigned to students allowing teachers and students to review performance and teachers to generate reports.
