By entering a title, author, or keyword, educators can locate materials in nearby libraries, access digital resources, and discover new teaching materials. WorldCat is beneficial for finding hard-to-access texts, historical documents, and academic research. This free tool is an aggregation site for news, research, information, and opinion about learning and technology. Hover over the titles to read an abstract or click to be taken to the site. There are video clips, slideshows, articles, and more. Share easily with others through email, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), or other social media. Interested in a specific topic? Use the tags on the left to view an entire category of related information. The site operates "automatically" by following certain feeds and web news searches, so new items appear very often. Although the title is Spigot, it could seem like "Firehose"! The content seems appropriate for secondary classrooms, but you might want to preview just before you turn students loose to be sure.

One of the most powerful gifts we can give our students--and ourselves--is the realization that our minds are never "finished" products. The Habit of the Mind - Remaining Open to Continuous Learning is the heartbeat of the lifelong learner; it's about having the humility to say "I don't know yet" and the pride to go find the answer. When students see us adjusting our thinking based on new information, seeking out resources to fill gaps in our knowledge, or genuinely considering their perspectives, we're teaching them something more valuable than any content standard: that learning never stops, and not knowing is just the beginning of discovery. In a world that's changing faster than ever, the ability to stay curious, admit mistakes, revise understanding, and actively seek growth isn't just nice to have--it's essential. The types of resources that you will find in this collection include Growth Mindset videos and websites, reflection journals, peer and self-assessment rubrics, digital portfolio platforms, case studies, question board templates, metacognitive reflection activities, TED talks, progress-tracking tools, before-and-after thinking routines (such as "I used to think...Now I think..", digital feedback tools, science news aggregators that often debunk "old facts," free online courses, and more. Use these resources to help our students understand that the smartest people aren't the ones who know everything; they're the ones who never stop learning.

Blogger is a free blogging platform from Google that includes free templates and custom URLs. Select "Create your blog" and sign in with your Google account. Follow the prompts to add a new blog, provide a title, and then customize using features on your dashboard, including layout, theme, and settings, such as the ability to add comments and shared authors. After customizing the look and information on your blog, use the link to publish and share the content. Any written assignment can easily be re-visioned as a flipbook! Make your literary magazine a flipbook or build new poetry collections during poetry month. Share all your flipbooks on individual laptops, the interactive whiteboard, or the projector. Create simple flipbooks of Dolch words for beginning readers.

Bullet lists are an excellent method for sharing information; Emoji Bullet List takes bulleted lists a step further, offering the opportunity to create more visually appealing lists using emojis. Type or paste your list into the text box and select "Emojify." Your list appears in the accompanying text box with emojis instead of bullets or numbers. Click on any emoji to view additional options to use with any item. Copy and paste the new list into any document when finished.

The Emoji Bullet List doesn't recognize emojis for all words; however, it is helpful for many purposes to visually improve the looks of lists used in documents, slides, and social media.
